Most Laravel projects don't fail because Laravel is hard. They fail because business logic ends up scattered across controllers, models and views until nobody dares to change it. I keep rules in services and policies, validate every input at the boundary and use database constraints and transactions to protect data integrity.
I work on new builds, on extending an existing application, and on taking over a codebase that needs to be cleaned up before it can grow. I'm a Software Engineer at Technyx in Karachi with 3+ years of production Laravel and PHP experience, and I take on freelance and contract projects remotely.
What you get
- Authentication and authorization (Sanctum, policies, role-based access)
- Service layers, repositories and clear domain boundaries
- Eloquent models and relationships designed against the real schema
- Queues, scheduled jobs and cron-driven operational tasks
- Feature tests for the behavior that matters
- Upgrades, refactors and production hardening
Frequently asked questions
Do you work with existing Laravel codebases?
Yes. Taking over, auditing and refactoring an existing application is a common request. I start by reading the code and the data model, then agree a plan with you before changing anything risky.
Which Laravel and PHP versions do you use?
Current ones: my public FinCore project runs on Laravel 12 and PHP 8.3. I also maintain older production applications and can plan a safe upgrade path.
Can you build only the backend and API?
Yes. I regularly build the backend and REST API for web and mobile clients and work alongside a separate frontend or mobile team.
How do we get started?
Send me a short description of the project through the contact page. I'll reply by email with questions or a proposed approach.
